Kelsey Knight-King

She/Her

I’m a licensed professional therapist who helps adults navigate relationships, mood regulation issues, and “stuck” places, as well as food, eating, and body image. What I offer my clients is connection, lightheartedness, and authenticity; the things you share with me are an investment you’re making, and my goal is to put them to work for you.

You are doing the absolute best that you can. So why does everything still feel so hard?

We are smart people who do smart things to try and meet our own needs for safety, peace, and connection. Sometimes, though, our attempts to keep our needs met don’t seem to work like they used to, or just aren’t working at all! Whether something feels just slightly out of sync, or the wheels have come off completely, and everything feels like chaos - you deserve support and expertise as you let go of the things that used to work, and open up to new solutions and perspectives.

Kelsey grew up in the home of the world's largest strawberry shortcake; Lebanon, Oregon. She is still an English major at heart, and loves to curl up and read with her cat, Agatha Crustie. She does not love gardening, but gardens grudgingly, in order to have unlimited flowers. Other interests include sketching, playing piano, camping, pasta, and time with her children. (Also karaoke- my signature song is Wuthering Heights, WITH all the moves from the 1978 music video)

We'd be a good fit if...

  • You ever feel like your body and your overly critical brain need to be in “couple’s counseling” with each other
  • You have a sense that past traumas are affecting your present, but are unclear about next steps
  •  You’re wondering how to go back and re-learn skills that other people seem to have already picked up
  • This is not where you thought you’d be in life, by this point!
  • You’re confused about whether your relationships are relationshipping the way they’re supposed to
